UKMARS will hold the minimal personal data required to perform its function. This data includes:

• Name
• Email address
• Membership status

Names and performance data on robots that have been entered in events organised by UKMARS.

Members and competitors will be informed of the data that will be collected. They may choose not to give the data in which case they may not compete or continue their membership.

This information may be distributed to any member of the society. It is the duty of each member to preserve the security of the data.

Events organised by UKMARS are considered to be public places. Photographs taken at these events may be distributed via social media to a wide audience
